Style Showdown: Light or Dark?

I like light colors. I think they’re so pretty.

Definitely light, they scream wedding to me! Very ethereal and bright!

Light mostly. Our darkest color is burnt orange

I do like light colors, but maybe more dark and neutral colors with flowers?

Both are beautiful. I like the boldness of the dark though. I think it looks better in pictures

I think I agree, Chinne. I don't know, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked the darker colored flowers. Is your wedding color palette lighter?

That was my thought, but then you also have the brightness of the light flowers. It's a tough call for me, Brittney. Was it easier for you if you chose wedding colors?

I prefer lighter colors but I am a fan of a darker accent color, such as navy, which was one of our colors.

I prefer a light colour palette and for our wedding even though it's in winter we've chosen a light colour palette to just brighten things up

I love dark colors. Red, black and purple is our color scheme.

I suppose mine is a mix, with dusty blue, steel blue, burgundy, blush, and gold. Both are beautiful to me.

I love the dark! I have to keep reminding my self I am having a spring wedding so I rain in the dark!

View Quoted Comment We have wedding colors but I think I'd depends on hues. We are both dark native Americans so to me dark skin and pastel flowers would throw off our pictures. However, one of our colors is red and we went with a bright but deep red.

In between. I hate pastels but our colors are bold and not dark. When I think of dark I think of the deep royal blues and eggplants and such. Our colors are raspberry and Malibu. Essentially fuschia and teal. I look terrible in pastels but those rich Caribbean colors look amazing on me.

Light! Did dark before and i wasn't satisfied

I wanted black and white with silver accents and had to add gold to

help incorporate theme because I feel it is airy in my opinion but everyone else wanted color so we went navy and white with silver and gold accents which I think comes off distinctly dark
