That is totally fine, Ivelisse!! You've got some time to figure out your colors and you can have a mixture of light and dark!

Dark Smiley smile I feel like light colors/palettes are a little over done and too "wedding-y" for my taste.

The dark is romantic and vibrant.

Mm, yes, I can see that, Caitlin! And I think darker colors would really suit a fall wedding like yours. Smiley smile Do you have your wedding colors picked out?

I hadn't thought about the openness, but that makes sense, Tacara! Are you taking advantage of the space light colors give at your wedding?

I'm getting married in August in Puerto Rico, so as wonderful as vibrant colors would be, I still prefer light colors. They feel more Summer wedding near the ocean. My colors are like a "Tiffany Blue" with gold. It's not concrete yet, but that's what I'm picturing for my big day... I love all the blue-green pastel colors combined with neutral or gold accent.

I personally like paler light colors. The colors I went with are our birthstones peridot, (august) and terquiose, (december). We are getting married in June so I think the pale colors keep things light and fun.

I think this entirely depends on the season of the wedding to me. I feel dark is more of a fall winter setting and light is spring summer

I like dark more, but we're not having a full wedding color palette like most people have now. Just a single, bold color with p much everything else in white.
