I love understated, simple is sometimes better! I don't feel like I need to flaunt my money to get my dream wedding, but I'm also more of a simple style when it comes to this stuff!

My FH and I are both very simple individuals, so under stated would fit us best! Being over the top would just be overwhelming!

I think understated, it's less overwhelming. I prefer picking fewer decorations, but ones that really go with your theme/look than more decorations just for the sake of filling space.
