Suggestions- Wedding dress has beautiful back design but i hate having having my hair up!

Oh I’m dealing with the same thing!! I hate my hair up because it just makes my face look sooo round. I haven’t decided what I’m doing yet because I want to play around with my hair when I get my dress. But these three are my favorite so far. So I like the first two because my hair is down but since it’s kind of pulled together instead of lose and flowy it’ll show the detail of the back of my dress (because the detail is all on the edge). If that makes sense lol. The third one is completely to the side, so it’ll show the entire back! If you want the entire back to show but you don’t want an updo I think a side style is the way to go. You could also do an updo, but have a lot of whispy pieces in the front to frame your face!

A side swept look could be really beautiful.

Ah i had the same thing happen to me. I wanted updo to display my back but updo looks awful on me aha. Love what everyone said about doing side swept. I ended up doing a half up half down simply because it looks best on me. But another option is updo for ceremony and bringing it down for the reception.

I also second doing a side sweep hairstyle so it’s down and over one shoulder. BUT as someone who is exactly the same as you with feeling like updos make my face look like a pumpkin here’s what I do: I have “face framing bangs” or whatever you call them. If you have wisps of hair left loose on either side of your face, it’ll help elongate and cut the roundness try it at home if you haven’t already!

Wear your hair cascading to the side, that way it's not up or covering the back details of your dress.

What about a low side ponytail or looser updo towards the nape of your neck? Low updos can still have your regular part and face frame your face in a similar way to wearing your hair down, but having your hair pulled to the side or partially up will show off the back of your dress.
