Suit or Tux?

Both my daughters are having formal weddings and have opted for tuxes.

FH and his guys will be wearing suits.

I'm so struggling with this. FH has said that he wants a tux, but I'm not entirely sure he knows the difference. He may just be thinking a suit with a bowtie and maybe a vest. Our wedding is at 3:30 on a Wednesday, which I know is not really appropriate to wear a tux for. On the other hand, if he really has his heart set, who am I to say he can't? My dress is kind of between an A-line and a ballgown and pretty formal, so that wouldn't be far off as far as different styles. I just wouldn't want people to side eye or laugh at him.

Any help?

Tuxes. He wears a suite to work every day so a little switch

FH just picked his out last weekend - he'll be wearing a light gray tux with a vest and bowtie. He thought he wanted a light tan suit or tux, but that proved to be harder to find, and he's happy with the gray.

My dress has some silver beading, so I think they will complement each other well.

We're getting married on a Friday night in late June at a pretty formal venue.

DH and his groomsmen went with black tuxedos, no cummerbund and suspenders!

We are doing tweed navy blue suits (hopefully we can find tweed. It's been a process)

Navy suits & bow ties!

We are doing tuxes, but they it just looks like a suit. No cummerbunds, suspenders, or bow ties. The tuxes just looked a little nicer up close, and there wasn't much of a price difference. They will be wearing a vest and regular tie though.
