Summer 2021 Bachelorette Party Ideas

Lisa, on August 16, 2020 at 8:02 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 12

So I’m sitting here drinking wine and watching playoff hockey with my fiancé... I’m trying to think of possible ideas for a summer bachelorette party for August/September of next year. My wedding was postponed due to Covid. I have zero ideas what I would have done this year if Covid wasn’t a factor.

My sister said “whatever I want”. She is my matron of honor and only bridal party member. I’m in Vegas she’s in San Diego (our home town).

Was thinking a winery weekend or maybe a long weekend somewhere different, like Nashville. My sister went not to long ago and loved it!

I’m a little self conscious calling it a bachelorette parry since it would be just the two of us, I don’t have many people I consider my friend. Maybe invite one or two other girls I’m decently close with.

This is all assuming we are able safely travel and whatnot in a year.

Obviously can’t plan anything yet. Just trying to get ideas for my sister to research as it will ultimately be her idea and planning.

Thoughts?

Do whatever you think you’ll enjoy the most! I think going somewhere new for some sister bonding time could be great!

Please don't be self conscious to celebrate! Even if it's just the two of you.

I think the winery tour would be lovely and relaxing. I went to Napa with a girlfriend once and we drove around, sipped wine, went to a lovely hot springs/spa. Nashville is a bit more bar hopping if that's what you're going for and it's also a bit overdone (my opinion only).

My bridal party and I were going to go to Atlantic City at the end of June but things were still shut down. I think that a winery weekend would be cute and fun. We’re waiting to reschedule ours until we see what happens with Covid

My BP took me to Medieval Times. We had wanted to do the Renn Faire, but it didn't work out timing wise.

Still, we had a blast and it was silly fun.

Thanks! That’s what I want I think. We were never too close, not that anything came between us,
mostly age and then I moved away. But I feel this is making us closer!

I’m leaning towards a winery or maybe even Disneyland lol! We've to Disney plenty of times but it’s fun and there’s other things to do at Downtown Disney. I’ve never been to Atlantic City

Thank you! I think this process is making us closer and weekend together would be fun. I think my fiancé wants to go to Nashville too. So maybe that is something to consider for a trip for us.

Disneyland would DEFINITELY be fun lol. Atlantic City is fun with lots to do. It's only a 2hr drive from me so its always a go to lol
