Summer Wedding in tx

Sb, on December 29, 2019 at 1:20 AM Posted in Texas Planning 0 4
My fiancé and I will be getting married the second week in May in Texas. We can’t decide on the start time due to the heat. We know we want an evening wedding, but can’t quite decide on a decent start time! I’m most concerned about the heat. Any suggestions?

We're getting married in August and chose to start our ceremony at 630p and have agreed to no more than 30 minutes tho the invite will say 6pm.

May isn't too hot yet. I'm getting married may 1st in central texas and were starting at 530 and going until 10. Nights are usually pretty cool in May.

As I'm sure you know, Texas weather is hit or miss. We went to a wedding this last May and the outside ceremony ended right when the sun was setting. It was breezy and I honestly wish I'd had a light sweater. That being said, you never know. There's been like 4 days of this past winter that were under 50 degrees. Ya never know in Texas.

Thanks ladies! We ended up deciding on 6pm. We for sure know that the heat shouldn’t be as bad at that time in the evening. However, Texas weather is such a hit or miss!
