Super unresponsive vendors

I’m having a destination wedding in August and nearly all of my vendors have been very hard to reach. I thought I’d be stressing about getting everything booked in time (only 7 months to plan) but rather I’ve been waiting around for responses most of this time. Is this happening everywhere? I’m worried they’re all going to flake on my wedding day.

I'm not excusing vendors but this is start of prime wedding season and with your wedding still 3+ months away most vendors are exceptionally busy this time of year. I know any vendors we worked with wanted to touch base within the month of.

Did they want to wait until the month of to even sign a contract? I’ve had a hard time even calling me back so I can book/pay them, including our planner.

I'm sorry, I incorrectly assumed you had your vendors all booked. So many **** brides had to push their weddings to this year and next that vendors are extremely overwhelmed. Which vendors are you waiting to hear back from and where is your wedding?
