Surprise Father/Daughter Dance Songs/Videos

My dad is a total goof ball - so we are, of course, planning a "surprise" silly father daughter dance.

My dad has requested we start with the first 30 seconds of Sam Cooke's "Nothing Can Change This Love," and then switch to fast/funny songs from there. We're both big Motown fans - so I want to work a couple of those types of songs in, as well as, some more modern stuff.

I'm sending my list of songs for the custom mix to the DJ next week. Did any of you married ladies do this at your weddings? Anyone planning to? Do you have suggestions for songs/dances to include? Any good videos you've seen on youtube?

    We are doing this for me and my FH first dance. You tube it .... There are literally 100s on there to pull ideas from!

    If you live near a college get a performing arts student to make the choreography they usually want to build their portfolio and do it for free!

    I attended a wedding of some friends from college a year ago that had a lot of us who went to school together in attendance. The couple sent out an email to their college friends a few weeks before the wedding asking if we would be willing to flashmob the dance floor with Gangham Style during the wedding party dance--it was a total hit!

    We aren't really planning anything silly but just non traditional Smiley smile we are going to shag to the song brown eyed girl. My daddy taught me how to shag...he's wayyyy better than me but that doesn't matter.
