Surprise proposal or expected?

I knew bc he took the ring everywhere. I just didnt know when he would do it. He actually did it the day before my birthday. I was still shocked lol

It was a surprise. But not a traditional proposal. It was Christmas eve and we needed to go food shopping when he told me. I still need to get your present. I'll let you pick it. You said u would help. I was mad. But then it clicked. I said I could help if he needs ideas so I got so excited and could not wait.

I knew eventually it would happen after 3 years of dating and talking about it for our future but I had NO idea when he actually did it, that it was coming which made it so perfect! I cried and was overjoyed!!

Okay, so mine's is kinda cheesy, but it was cute! I was on my way home from work and I was on the phone w/ my fiancee'. She and her cousin started talking in the background and was arguing, so I took my headphones out of my head, and after a while she hung up on me! *insert angry face*. I called back a few minutes later until I got home and we hung up. She was laying in the bed asking for a hug, and I told her to wait because I had to put my stuff down. Once I did that and started moving closer to her, she pulled the covers off of her (she had clothes on y'all!), and she had a note laying on her chest saying "Will you marry me? Yes or No" and the ring on the end of the note! I was so speechless, and I said yes! I didn't expect it at all!

OMG!! I was completely unaware!! I can remember it, like was yesterday!!! Christmas Day, the family, friends, was over and kids, opening their presents, pictures and wine and dinner and all of sudden my handsome boyfriend at the time, said," there's one more present, that needs to be open" and he said it was for me. So I opened the box and inside that box was another little box, and I opened the box and saw, the most beautiful 2 carat ring, and he said" will you marry me baby" and I so speeches and was quiet for so long, my dad said " honey, the man ask you a question." I started to cry and I said "Yes"" and everyone knew, they kept, that secret well. It was perfect and we had one good ole celebration!!! Now we're getting married!!!!! Future Mrs. Boyd

I knew it was coming. I picked the ring out and made him order it but didn't want to know anything else. Well in March this fool told me one morning "hey your ring shipped!" Oh I was so mad since i didn't want to know. So i was always asking when he was going to do it.

We meet at the softball fields, because my daughter plays and now he coaches her team. He originally was going to propose at the fields where we met. But the tournament got rained out. So three weeks later is when he did it. It was at another tournament and our girls placed 3rd. We were taking pictures and he had the girls do a silly picture. Everyone was in on it and so they had them all lay down. Well I of course was trying to take pictures and they started yelling at me. Lol. I was clueless then. He told me to come get in the picture since I am the Team Mom. When I walked closer I noticed he was on his knee and all I remember was seeing him mouth "will you marry me?" I was crying and he was crying! It was honestly the most perfect proposal. So I knew it was coming but not sure when!

COMPLETE surprise. We were on a trip to Scotland together, and were climbing Arthur's Seat and he proposed on the Salisbury Craigs (since there were too many people on top of the Seat itself--he knew I would hate an audience). He snuck the ring over in his luggage, and around with him during the beginning days of our trip. Almost found it a couple of times, apparently, but in the end, I was totally gobsmacked.

My life partner asked me to marry her after 2 weeks and couple days of getting back together after 10 years. It was a surprising shock when she asked me. I wasn't expecting that at all! I said "yes" after a few seconds she popped the question. Then after the phone call I gave myself anxiety attack. I started breathing heavy, to where my son had to help me calm down. After the episode I cried because of how much we still loved each other after 10 years and was excited! Now we are goin to be married October 18th 2018. Can't wait!

Completely knew it was coming. He knew I wanted to be able to celebrate with my family (in Minnesota) and we were going to be traveling there in a couple months. I knew he had the ring because I had to get renters insurance for him to get insurance on the ring before getting it from the jewelers. One Friday we were trying to figure out what to do for dinner and he called me saying he made reservations for a fancy restaurant near us. I had a feeling so I went and got my nails done so I'd be prepared if he actually did propose.

Definitely expected, there wasn't much of a proposal, we agreed it was about time to get married! LOL!!
