Surprise shower! Pics :)

2- The dessert table....sooooo pretty (and delicious).

3- The cake...my mom's best friend/my second mom made it from scratch! Isn't that amazing?!

2- Me with my MOH, aunt, nana, and momma...I love that my mom and I matched (I also loved that I had a reason to wear that dress before our honeymoon)

10- My brother's girlfriend made an incredible scrapbook (which I'll probably post about later) that told a "once upon a time" style story about FH and I....yeap, I cried.

11- Opening the gift that was given to me by...our dog.

12- Every guest was asked to fill out a recipe card (that was sent with their invitation) for their favorite/most infamous recipe. Then they gave me a recipe box with all my loved ones' favorite recipes! I thought that was an awesome idea.

Thanks for listening to me gush and humoring me...the day went by SO fast but it was so much fun!

Looks like a lot of fun, that was very nice.

Before I got there, Gina gave everyone a clothespin (that was blinged out by her FH). If you heard someone say the word "bride," "groom," "wedding," or "honeymoon," you got to steal their clothespin, and at the end of the shower they gave gifts to the people who collected the most. FH's cousin won by a landslide, and second place went to my 75 year old great-aunt, who was VERY into it!

One of the other BMs asked Mark a whole bunch of questions and recorded his answers, and she asked me in front of everyone what I thought his answers were. I got almost every question right! The one I got wrong:

Q: Who are you most afraid of -- Rosie's dad, Rosie's older brother, or Rosie's younger brother? (both my brothers are 6'4" and built like monsters)

FH's answer: Rosie. sigh.....he's probably right.

Looks like you had a lot of fun. Good for them sneaking your favorite dress there so you could change. Love the decorations!

Don't you feel loved? looks like a blast!

Thanks! I was amazed and really flattered by all the work they put into making everything perfect. It went by soooo fast...I feel like I had 3 minutes to eat some amazing, amazing lunch, and then it was just whirlwind and then it was over. Everybody said the wedding day will be like that x1000, so we'll have to really savor every minute and take it all in.

@mellojean, exactly...I felt so loved!! It was a great feeling I was overwhelmed.

It was truly a joy filled day! I enjoyed meeting Rosie's fh's family and hearing the nice things they had to say about my daughter. I enjoyed the happiness on my daughter's face. I enjoyed Gina's ability to rally the group and lead them in their bridesmaids tasks with a smile and a joke. I enjoyed seeing my daughter surrounded by all of the women in her life that love her. It was a wonderful, happy, memory filled day!

How much fun was that!!!! Looks awesome! And your cake is so cool! Put a smile on my face just looking at pics so I can imagine what a spectacular day it was for you!
