Sweating in wedding dress

Kristen, on February 23, 2018 at 10:58 PM Posted in Fitness and Health 0 10
Hi guys - I’m getting married on 3/3 and I’m having anxiety about sweating on my big day- out wedding is outdoors and in Florida . The temp that day is supposed to be high 74 and low 52 which is perfect , but when I sweat, oh man it’s bad. I’ve tried EVERYTHING to stop it from powder to prescription deodorants but nothing really makes it “better”. My worst fear is to have my sweat stains show on my armpits around my dress and my bust line (I’m big chested) and stain it through the night. Any advice or tips would be appreciated. I’ve spoken to my doctor about it and the only thing she can recommend is Botox injections which we don’t have the time for. Thank you in advance

Oh that is wonderful to hear that it works ! Is it instantaneously or does it take awhile to work? I really don’t have the time though right now but I will for sure take your word for it and get to it when I get back from my honeymoon ! Thank you Smiley smile

I assume you’ve already tried this but just in case... Certain Dry every night before bed from now till the wedding. And lots of lotion in the morning cause it’ll irritate your skin.

Honestly I did it for years and it was instant like I’m talking the next day! And the appointment to get it done only takes 5 minutes !

I’ve used certain dri for years and that’s the only thing that really helps. I’ve been using it every night for the last 2 weeks and I agree , it dries your pits out. I really hope it pulls though for my big day. I’ve heard people say to spray deopon where you don’t want to sweat and powder corn starch on the area. Looks like I’ll be bringing a big ol box of that to my venue

Following! I've been terrified about this, too. June wedding outside in Georgia! I'm just praying for good weather and a breeze! At least we're getting married in the evening!

Hi im worried about being sweaty myself and your right powder dont help. What i have found that helps is the 48 hr secret deodorants that are a solid and go on clear. And i use it in my other areas between my girls under my girls and between my thighs. I will be doing this for our day also. . And dont be afraid to carry some wipes and reapply. There also if you want sold at craft stores in the sewing section a product you can get called a pit protector

What I think I may do to prevent “under boob sweat” is apply deodorant to that are, put corn startch on top, and then take the mini panti liner pads (weird I know) and stick them to the bottom part of my bra - I think it may do the trick and of course reapply through out the night as needed. It sucks we have this problem but at the same time it’s nice to know I’m not the only one who has to face this alone !
