Sweaty Feet (sorry for the gross topic)

Lara, on April 17, 2015 at 9:00 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 17

I have these beautiful wedding shoes that add 4" to my height and that I have been wearing when FH and I practice our first dance in (we've been taking lessons). The only problem is my feet get sweaty and slip around. It doesn't affect the dance, it's just uncomfortable. Does anyone have any advice? My dance instructor didn't really have anything to offer. Thanks so much and sorry for the gross question!

You should be able to find some no-slip inserts for your shoes.

What do the shoes look like? Are they closed toes or open?

Ohhhh, those are pretty! Maybe try sprinkling corn starch in your shoes before you put them on? FH makes his boys do that (tween boys smell horrific, btw) and it seems to help. I'm not saying yours stink, but the powder will probably help keep them dry.

I swear by Monkey Butt! It is a brand of powder and I love it! They have regular, ladies and baby. Just sprinkle it in your shoes!

Body Glide! It won't really help with the sweat, but it will work MIRACLES against blisters! I also get sweaty feet but wanted to wear super strappy shoes (bad combo!), so I put put some body glide on my feet and had no blisters at all Smiley smile

Go to Payless and get some heel grips. You could also try some nude footies.

Sounds like the products could be a solution but I'm also wondering if the shoes might be a bit too big on you.

Yep was just going to suggest the deodorant trick. To help the most spray it on at night. I used to be very bad and now slightly better.

I use deodorant which is weird I know but it does work. Also, if slipping is an issue get slip resistant inserts. They help a ton! I also have sweaty feet so I feel your pain!
