Sweetheart or Head Table?

Sweetheart table, as of about 2 weeks ago. But up until that point, we were planning on a head table.

Honestly, we're a bit torn at this time what to do, so I was reading these hoping for some insight. We're trying to decide between a Sweetheart Table or a King's Table. I'm really not sure what to do. My side of the bridal party is travelling from out of town/state and they'll have family at the wedding other than their SOs.

Any advice?

Sweet Heart table for us. A head table was the original plan, however some of the bridal party will have their spouses there as well and we don't want to sepearte them with love in the air, lol.

Sweetheart table! I think it is different from the normal way, and works better for us since we have a small bridal party. And I love the idea of the bride and groom being approachable during dinner to chat and mingle with.

Since we have children we are doing a table for the 4 of us. And then I am doing seating chart with bridal party sitting with their spouses/family members

Looks like the minority but head table! Most of our wedding party have SOs but there will be a table for all of them close to the head table. I've been to my friends' weddings that did the same thing and since everyone is in the same boat, you get along and have fun! I want to sit with my wedding party I think sweetheart tables look a little awkward too.

I actually haven't decided this yet. But seeing most of these comments I am leaning towards Sweetheart. I didn't think about people being away from family members and whatnot.

Sweetheart, I'd hate to pull the bridal party away from all the other guests they'd want to be partying with.

Sweetheart table but, it will have some extra space incase one of our younger kids need to sit with us.

We definitely want a sweetheart table! My FBIL had a head table, which was actually really nice. But we're having such a small wedding, that we're going to give groomsmen/bridal party their own table.
