We're sitting at a Sweetheart table, but I kinda wish I was sitting with my friends. I also realize that sometimes I need to wind down away from other people when I'm overwhelmed with stimulation, so this would be an advantage.

Sweetheart table! For the same reasons everyone else is listing. I want my wedding party members to be able to sit with their SO's and families.

Probably sweetheart. Had not even started to consider this but I want our attendants to be able to sit with their spouses.

Neither! We mixed up our wedding party at the tables we thought worked well for them and their SOs. We sat with 3 other couples, a mix of family and friends. I've been seeing this a lot more lately and I like it.

We are still deciding. Most likely we will have a sweetheart table. Some of our wedding party members have spouses or children and we want them to be able to sit together. Because of the size of our wedding party, we may just seat them with their friends and families throughout the space.

I’d much rather have a sweetheart table. All of my bridesmaids have significant others and a couple of them also have children. I wouldn’t want them to sit away from them.

I'm really happy I looked into this conversation! You make a really great point. I was leaning towards a head table, but I never put into consideration about how it would affect our bridesmaids and groomsmen. So, sweetheart table for sure!!

We're doing a sweetheart table that's right in front of the dance floor and the tables are in an arc around us so we're surrounded by our friend's and family. I personally would not do a head table just for the same reason others have mentioned: having them sit without their +1's.

Sweetheart table for us! There are only going to be about 50 guests so we’re sticking with small and intimate for seating as well

We are doing a head table, but it’s also only us with a maid of honor and a best man. It’s no big thing for us. Our wedding is only 50 people so we dont need to make a big fuss.

As I type this I'm at a wedding where they have a head table. As a wife of a groomsmen it sucks. The fact that there is no assign seating doesn't help either. The only people I know here are my husband and the groom barely. I will suck it up and get through it because it's not about me but if I had choice I wouldn't choose this.

We are doing a head table. I want to sit with my bridal party, but I am against asking spouses to sit at a different table. We are inviting them to join us at the head table.

We are doing a head table that includes us, the bridal party and their significant others. My FH is very opposed to a sweetheart table beucase he hates all the attention. Luckily, our bridal party who has significant others are all either living together engaged or married, so we won't have just dates. I have been at head tables for just the bridal party and where my now fiance knew no one that he was sitting with, so I didn't want that.

Sweetheart table! We want our wedding party to be able to sit with their significant others, rather than leaving them alone with people they don't know very well. That way, everyone has more fun!

We are doing a head table. I like the idea of having my girls beside me on our special day.
