Sweetheart Table Colors

Tiger Bride, on July 29, 2020 at 3:20 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 9

I'm shopping for the rest of our tablecloths and I'm at a loss for what color scheme our sweetheart table should be. Our guest tables are going to be a mix of turquoise, sky blue, and seafoam green, all with navy napkins. Chairs are white. I'd like our table to "pop" a bit, but I'm not sure how.

Should I pick a similar "cool" color in the green or blue family? Maybe a butter yellow? Would having a different color for ours (so a total of 4 different color tablecloths) make everything look too chaotic?

Our colors were navy blue, light blue, silver, and white.
Guests tables had white table cloths and navy runners. Our table had a navy table cloth and silver runner. All tables had silver chargers and light blue napkins in silver napkin rings.
I think it would be easier for your table to stand out if all guests tables were the same and your table was different

    Another thought
Keep the table cloths the same, I personally think all different colors is too much but that’s just me, and then do different centerpieces to pull in all your colors.

I think maybe for yours just leave it as white I mean I know that’s kind of plain considering all the other colors are pops of blue or green but it being white makes it simple and will definitely stand out considering all the others are a different color

I think you have too many different colors going on. I wouldn't add yellow as you already plan on using three different colors. I would probably have all of the guests have the same color and just make yours different. You could tie in the other colors with your centerpieces rather than every table being a different color.

We bought our tablecloths from an event planner's liquidation sale for $5 each, so I was willing to be a little flexible on whether the colors were the same...! I was hoping the navy napkins would tie them together. We are having an outdoor reception on the coast, so there are lots of blues and greens in the surrounding environment. At this point I don't really want to buy all new tablecloths. White might be the best way to go. I like the seafoam, so I was thinking of that too. These are what we have:

Why not white? It’s one of your colors but would pop with all the blues/greens in the room.

I would think the same texture as your colored linens would be best, but you could go for a white sweetheart linen with some texture:

Our colors were navy and coral, with some gold accents. The guest tables were navy or coral tablecloths, and then we had a gold one with a ton of decorations around it.

I think white would be nice! It would stand out and be bridal, but still go with everything too.
