Sweetheart Table?? Seating plan??

During your reception did you have a sweetheart table? Or did you sit at a long table with the rest of your wedding party? Bridesmaids/Groomsmen? Did your guests sit at round tables or rectangle? How many guests per table?

We were going to do a sweetheart table, but, decided on the head table with bridal party, 3 people in the bridal party will be sitting with their husbands.

We are sitting at a sweetheart table. The guests will be at round tables that fit 10-12 per table.

We had a sweetheart table, and I'm glad for it. Guests had round tables, 8 per table.

I'm still torn on what to choose... I like the idea of a sweetheart table and looking around at all of your guests, but I also like the "kings table" . not a fan of the long head table, where the ones on the very end wouldn't even be seen anyway... (so that one is out)

kings table or sweetheart? decisions decisions...will probably go with sweetheart since most of the BP members are married or in relationships and their SO aren't in the BP....

We had a sweetheart table & had a separate table for our bridal party so they can sit with their plus ones. Our venue had square tables that sat up to 12 which was perfect for us since our bridal party was 6 people total, making 12 with their plus ones.

Head table with our bridal (about half are married to other people in the bridal party) and our guests are at 60" rounds. Personally, I despise a sweetheart table and have never liked them...IMO the give the impression that the B&G are above everyone else and too good to sit with anyone but each other.

Head table.... I don't care for sweetheart tables. I can't remember if the rest of the tables are round or rectangle, but I do know they seat 8.

We will have a sweetheart table and small bridal party will be sitting with friends at regular tables of 10. At every wedding we've ever been to, the bride and groom don't have any time to sit once the toasts are over, so we figure it wouldn't be nice to segregate the bridal party when we wouldn't be sitting with them most of the time!

We are having a square sweetheart table, and our guests will be at 8 and 10 top rounds.
