Table covering

Diana, on April 19, 2022 at 2:42 PM Posted in Style and Décor 2 6

I am doing red and camo and I am very un decided on coverings. I am doing a rustic fall theme and looking to maybe use a tan tablecloth will a red runner look right with it?

I think it depends on the venue. If its more rustic, silk might be a bit too much in the setting. Depending on the tables, you could even do a cotton red table cloth, with a burlap runner, and then your centerpieces/table decor. For some reason in my brain I'm seeing long tables in a barn, with lots of low candles/jars with lights and foliage for down the center of the table.

A tan table cloth would also look nice with a red runner. Again, it depends on your venue. A nice linen on linen look could also be very pretty, especially with greens added in.

I was told red table cloths would be to much because my dress is red Smiley smile. The venue is going to be a combination of country rustic and fall my centerpieces are going to be mason jars with twinkle lights in them maybe add flowers in them as well fake stem flowers .

If you're dress is red, you may not want to do any red linens on your table. You could stick with a neutral tan base and add color in with the mason jars. You could add ribbon to the mason jars to add pops of color, as well as some flowers. Because they are circular tables, you could even do a circular center piece of fabric to avoid cutting the table with a runner, helping to make it feel wider, and then do your centerpieces on top of that.

Either way, the red and tan color vibes would be great and will definitely work with the feel you're going for.
