Table Linens

I’m in need of some help .. do you prefer a crisp white tablecloth so the centerpieces will pop? Or are you doing colorful table linens that is an essential part of your reception decor ..

I prefer both but I chose color for mine. My guest tables are blush and my buffet tables are pale lavender. I want color everywhere! I think crisp white linens look very smart with a colorful, full centerpiece.

I feel like it depends on the venue. Are you outside with plants and greenery? Are you inside with colored lighting? Are you in a white room with potentially white table cloths and you are worried about it being plain?

We're doing white tablecloths with forest green napkins to match our centerpieces.

It really depends on what you want! Go as bold or subtle as you'd like with the linens

Our venue is white on white on white. Lol So, I wanted to incorporate color as much as we could. Our tablecloths are navy, centerpieces are mix-match brass candlesticks and trinkets, and we found really nice smoky glasses in greens and blues. We're trying to find a good deal on plates right now, but no luck yet.

I think it depends on your centerpieces and the mood or look you want. White would not have worked for us at all.

We just ordered our tablecloth linens tonight. We’re doing black tablecloths with gold table runners. Our wedding colors are Black/Gold with ivory as an accent color.

I'm hoping to ha e plum linens. Our venue offers white and gold china for catering. The center pieces will be cut glass with flowers and I really think the dark on light contrast will really make things pop.

We are going with a white striped table cloth. Each seat will have a blue charger and blue napkin plus the flowers in the center will be the pop of color each seat needs.

We are still working on a prototype for our guest table centerpieces but they will be some combination of white and pink flowers with lots of dark greenery, white pillar candles and ceramic birds.

I’m liking the idea of having white tablecloths with either white plates & silver around the outside, then I also like the idea of a colored tablecloth with white plates & silver around the outside & a colored napkin or just white all the way around

Our color scheme is red, black, white and silver. We have decided to go with black tablecloths so our centerpieces will pop.

We are doing crisp white tablecloths. I think it's a cleaner look. I have seen various ideas where there are colors, and it usually looks beautiful, but it's not for me.

I used ivory silk linens to provide a soft, elegant look. In general, I prefer neutral linens to provide a more high-end look.

I prefer white linens. Don't mind if the napkins are different colors or a table runner of sorts but as a base I think white/ivory tablecloths looks the best.
