Table “numbers”

We really like our cats. I was born a cat lady and my FH has turned into a cat man after being around me so much.
Instead if table numbers we are going to name them after our cats - a cute drawing and a funny bio. “Bumblebee is part Himalayan and part street cat. He is a crafty lair and will convince everyone he has not been fed while still licking his chops from his most recent meal. Dislikes loud noises and vacuums.”
We have four. Would you -1. Also use cats that are no longer here because you love them? Or2. Some shelter cats with info on how to adopt them - a short “dating profile” or something?

I think it's adorable to name your tables after your cats. Like PPs I would probably go with your prior cats versus shelter cats, and just have some information available on cat adoption. You could even have an "in lieu of gifts, please donate to (your favorite animal shelter)" on your website

Yes, we are going to get a custom one made from Etsy, there is one that has a couple reading books over each other’s shoulders, and we’ll have the cats at our feet.
