So we've finally settled on our color scheme (Deep Teal, Tiffany Blue with gold accents). I'm trying to decide how to do the table overlays and napkins. Is it more esthetically pleasing to have a darker overlay and lighter napkins or lighter overlay and darker napkins? Either way, our chairs will be gold. All the weddings I've ever been to have light table overlays and darker napkins. Not sure if that's a coincidence or it's because it looks better.
My MOH is wearing Peacock from Azazie and she doesn't mind if she 'matches' the overlays; I don't think anyone would really notice since she is my only bridal party member so it won't be a bunch of people matching the overlays/napkins. My fiancé, his BM and the dad's are wearing Tiffany Blue ties.
What do you think? Should the accent tables (gift/cards, cake, foyer, seating cards) and sweetheart table be the same as the guest tables or the opposite?
It's really not something to overthink, but just trying to get thoughts.
