Table runner length

It's an aesthetics question with no real answer. How far do you want the runner to hang down on either side, if at all?

Google what size tablecloths I need or something like that and click on images, it should bring up pics that show what size linens for different size tables that's how I figured mine out

Standard runner length from wedding linen retailers is 108". That would give you 24" of overhang on each side, which is fine. It will clear the floor by 6".

The same length runner on a 48" table would run floor to floor. This is not a problem on your sweetheart table because you would not be pushing your chairs in and out on the ends of the table.

@stpaul, I just wanted to make sure it would be long enough/not gathering on the floor. Anything in between I'm actually fine with.

60" is 5 ft

I called the venue to confirm table size and table cloth diameter, and then decided. Mine will hang 6" above the floor on either side.
