I seen a groom totally grab and feel up his brides chest on the dance floor...During their first dance! What is your experience?

@Irish -- wonder if the photographer got all this on film?! Like, I can imagine all those stylized photos you normally get at a wedding of the favors, table settings and guests, that make the event look like it was part of a magazine layout, and then this wedding would include fists and boobies flying everywhere (but in a classy, stylized way, you know?)

Glenda What photographer? lol She had her friend take pictures with his camera and then bitched because they were all awful! HAHA

The whole wedding was a mess from the start! But it was caught on camera phones and posted onto Facebook lol! And it just happened my FH was the one who had to cover the other girl boobies because there were kids running around.

(which he loves to tell people about!!)

I went to a wedding that was kind of all around awkward. The bride's parents did not approve of her getting married. She was one of 8 kids and they wanted her to stay close to home to help with the other kids. She instead - and I don't blame her - moved to a different state to be with her husband. The grooms family paid for the wedding. There was a 4 hour gap between the wedding and the reception in a very very small town with nothing to do, but drink gross icky coffee. The reception was in an American Legion with no air conditioning in July. The brides father couldn't attend because of disease that required air conditioning. There was a DJ and no one danced. The bride and groom hung out outside with their friends smoking and doing whatever else. Then they announced a dollar dance (the only dance the bride and groom had) and afterwards the bride and groom counted their cash right there on the dance floor in front of everyone. Weird and awkward.

Oh brother! That brides speech about gift and only - tacky with a capital T.

If she came to me, with a check, and asked for cash, I would be tempted to take back my check and retrieve a few coins from my purse to replace it with.

MrsO, I didn't give a check, I bought a gift from the registry. However, several people at the table did get their check back and told the bride they would go to the ATM for cash and didn't come back.

Future Mrs. C, the bride was not drunk. As a matter of fact, she didn't drink all night. She's just tacky and rude.

What's worse, there were several women from her family encouraging her. I later found out it was her mother and sister (my friend) who convinced her that she had a right to do this. Needless to say, her sister and I are no longer friends.

Definitely doesn't beat some of the other stories but...

FH's cousin got married two years ago- we all got to watch as a ridiculously drunk bridesmaid - ahem- "touched herself" (through her dress) on the dance floor. That was a fun one.

My MOH's mother went to a wedding and saw people stealing bottles from behind the bar. The Groom got on the mic and cursed those people out/kicked them out of the reception.

I wasn't there.. but at my old job I once printed a canvas for someone and the grooms pants were falling down showing his tighty whities and his shirt was too short and his belly was hanging out. I had to remain expressionless when I took the order.

I don't think it's tacky..more like drama..but at my FSIL's wedding, my FMIL and FFIL (who are getting divorced) both got so drunk that they had to send FFIL home in a taxi because he was getting really out of control...he proceeded to tell me how great my legs are and how he hopes FH has told me that while i waited for the taxi with him. FMIL was in the bathroom crying because the dj refused to play her song request because it was the end of the night and he had to play the bride's last song....

I went to a wedding a few years ago where the main course at the dinner was filet mignon. The groom's mother, father, and siblings complained loudly that the steak was undercooked, and then the father went to a local Burger King and brought back food for his family, which they ate at the family table with the fast food bags in plain sight.

I have heard some tacky things but the closest to tacky I have seen was at my friend's wedding, a guest showed up in a hoochy mini-dress. She then spent the evening grinding with her boyfriend on the dancefloor which caused her dress to ride up showing her thong and ass and also falling down showing off her boobs. She didn't stop to fix it much. After a song would end, she would fix one part and keep on going. It was disgusting. The rest of the wedding was gorgeous and classy and this hooch totally drew bad attention.

OH yes! I forgot, at the recent wedding I was in, one of my fellow bridesmaids started shoving forks down the top of her dress, to figure out how many she could fit down it! When it came time to eat cake, everyone on that side of the table had to ask for a new fork! I was mortified! This was a beautiful, classy, EXPENSIVE event!

I'm having my wedding the same place where my cousin had hers, but her's was flat out trashy. We really don't claim that side of the family. Besideds being horrible hosts, she had no class. It was horrible, my mother almost had a heart attack. My Fiance was very clear on not inviting them. They had champagne for the head table, but nothing else was provided for the guests. Now, I strongly believe that if you are going to serve something, all the guests should be able to have some. Then, the groom takes off his shirt and just worn his vest and tie with nothing underneath at the reception....it was disgusting.

Hahaha these are funny. A wedding I went to 2 years ago involved a fist fight between the groom and his mother in law. The mother in law told him that her husband (the bride's father...who passed away a few years before that) would hate him and would have never agreed to this wedding. Oh the groom slurred "I do". Oh there were 5 DUIs that came from this wedding. Oh and there was a guest that overdosed on heroin. And there was ANOTHER fist fight when the groomsmen and the groom tried to convince the boyfriend of the girl who overdosed over the fact she needed to go to the hospital.

It was an interesting wedding to say the least. Not really tacky...just dramatic. Hahahaha.

Wow these stories are hilarious! I went to a wedding where a guest was wearing a short tight dress and obviously had been drinking too much. She then called herself getting the party started on the dance floor by dancing with a wine glass in her hand. 5 seconds later, all you see is her spinning around, then a big boom from her falling, splash of champagne all over the dance floor, and people dying laughing!!

The tackiest wedding I have attended lately was my sisters's this year. Her first husband died 6/30/2012. She got married the first week in May. Her daughters were all unhappy and made loud comments prior to the start of the wedding about how much they loved their dad. One of those girls showed up in skin tight jeans and an off the shoulder t-shirt. Another guy showed up in cargo shorts and a "wife beater" shirt. Then there was the wedding cake. Half way thru the reception the grooms daughter stood up and announced that her adult son had made the cake and that if "anyone" liked the cake and wanted him to do their wedding cake all they had to do was buy the cake mixes and give her $50. (This was said with her staring directly at me). Did I mention that the cake looked exactly like what it was; a boxed cake with very little decoration.

Last year I saw the groom's friends dancing on tables and basically doing a strip tease on the dance floor. It go so crazy that FH and I left early even though I was in the bridal party. After we left, apparently there was a "no pants" dance from the same guys.

Did not attend this wedding and did not know the couple, but it was in our paper a few years back and just made me laugh. At the reception the father of the groom said something nasty to the brother of the bride and it started an all out Hatfield and McCoy war, grooms family against bride's family. Parts of the cake were picked up and hurled across the venue. When it was all said and done, the police showed up and started hauling people away. No one could find the bride and groom. Seems they left the reception and all their feuding relatives to just be with each other....
