This weekend, FH is treating me to a night at my favorite hotel in Taipei and two days of shopping at the city's most famous bridal street! Bridal shopping is done a bit differently here, and Taipei has an entire street lined with shops offering bridal services and actively competing with each other. So you can go up and down the street comparing packages and deals and bargaining with different shops. Most places offer pretty much everything, and give you discounts based on how much you order. For example, if you order your cake from a certain place, they may give you half-price services from their resident HMUA.
I'm equal parts terrified and excited. Luckily, FH and FSIL are coming along to help me with the written Chinese in the contracts, since I still struggle with reading less common words. Any advice on things to prioritize or things to avoid?
We already have venue, food, bar, DJ, decor and photo/video. Those were included in the venue. We also have an officiant.
