Taking out dress without adding corset?

Dacia, on March 13, 2020 at 1:56 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 5
Is that even a possibility? My dress hits just right that I have bra bulge and as of right now it’s so bad I want to cry. I’m trying to lose weight but it’s coming slowly and my wedding is 5/30 so I don’t have a ton of time. I personally just don’t want a corset back as I don’t think it would look right with my dress. Any other advice on how to hide it is appreciated!

It depends on the dress manufacturer but most can be let out. Mine has at least 2 inch seam (Stella York). My bra bulge stopped when the seamstress took my bra off and added cups instead. Unfortunately I will still need to let it out just below my waist to my hips. Losing weight won’t take 2-3 inches off at least on me in 1 month. I’ve bought a Honeylove (more comfortable than spanx) and feel it helped a little.

Mines David’s bridal so I’m hoping they have extra fabric in the dresses! That’s mainly the only area I’m having problems without some sort of under wear to help out thankfully! That gives me hope

Hey Dacia, have you taken your dress to a seamstress to see if it can be let out a little? Have you tried the dress on with the underwear/shapewear you plan to wear on your wedding day?
