Tall Bread Baskets? Rustic yet Fresh Centerpiece

Northern MN, on April 7, 2014 at 2:14 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 4

Hi All,

I am looking for a bread basket (could be a vase I suppose) that fits a rustic theme that would be able to hold flatbread and bread sticks (thicker not thinner) to put on the tables as part of a centerpiece (the rest of the centerpiece will include potted herbs), mason jars/vases with flowers in them. I don't want it to be too busy just feeling rustic, fresh, and comfy. There will also be some butter on the table. The wedding is in November at a lodge.

Some ideas I have so far...

*big coffee can with the label removed (maybe the outside covered in something or maybe just metal

*tall wire basket

*Old vintage cans

I really like all of the ideas pictured, except for the coffee cans covered in brown paper. To me they look like pencil holders. Everything else looks great though. The plants go very well with the basket of bread.

I agree with Donna-- any of them work great with your them/venue, except the paper ones are just kind of weird.
