Tall Centerpieces

Nugget Jamie, on October 19, 2015 at 5:14 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 11

I know prices will vary by region , season, size of arrangement and all that but I was wondering if $150 for a tall floral centerpiece (similar to the pic) is normal? A really good deal? Or overpriced? I'm in the Midwest and we're sticking with more seasonal flowers. Haven't been able to compare prices without actually meeting with another florist, so I'm hoping you guys can shed some light on this for me Smiley smile

That's about what I paid per my tall centerpieces (that look very similar!) - $140/ea. There were about 13 hydrangea and 12 roses in each one, with baby's breath filler. We own the vases now though, we weren't renting them. We saved money by doing half tall and half short centerpieces. Also, I did larger-than-typical BM bouquets and those doubled as our short centerpieces (I had 8 BM and 15 tables) so that saved us even more money!

Sounds like a good deal to me...I think I'm paying around $275 for my tall ones like that (though I think they will be more full and a little bigger), including the vase rental.

Thank you ladies! @annakay those look beautiful! We're doing about 1/3 tall and the rest short.

Sounds about right to me. For reference I am in Toronto, Canada and things here are on the expensive side. (My venue cost pp is 170&dollarSmiley winking.

Our centerpieces are short, but we are having 2 alter pieces made which will be with rental vases and stands and they are costing $295 each all in.

Hi Jamie! Midwest bride here, also Smiley smile I'm actually doing my own floral, however we did meet with a florist in the very beginning, just to see what pricing would look like. The CPs we priced out weren't nearly as tall - but probably the same size otherwise, and we were quoted 130 each. I'd say that price is pretty much the norm. Those are gorgeous!

Yeah, I would say that is about right. It also depends on the type of flowers you are using. Like you, we are doing 1/3 of our centerpieces tall...similar to the picture attached but in different flower colors and that's what I was quoted (Houston).
