Tan lines and strapless dress!

Kacie, on August 22, 2016 at 1:38 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 23

Well, even though I made a great effort at not getting tan lines this summer....my efforts weren't good enough!!! What do I do if I have tan lines and strapless dress?

Fill it is with some self tanner! I usually can get it to blend. I'd do a gradual lotion

Either do some Jergens gradual tan to see if that helps or consider having a professional airbrush it.

Will the spray tan make me darker? or just even? I don't want to be any darker than I already am.

Self Tanner....I recommend St. Tropez (make sure you use the mit to apply). By far the best self tanner I've ever used.

I love Jergins Natural Glow! It evens out my tan lines, while still making me look a little more tan on the already sun-kissed spots. What's nice about it is that it isn't streaky and doesn't come off on clothes. I use less per day every day for a more gradual tan and to prevent any mishaps that I've seen happen in people's reviews. They must be using tons! O.O

Spring for a good tanner who will apply personally - that way they can just do the areas needed and make sure you have even color (the cheap option, booths, will not do this). Not cheap, but way better than makeup or self-tanner that could rub off on your veil and gown!

I'm planning to get a spray tan applied by a person so she can emphasize darkening the white areas and leaving the already tan parts alone. To reiterate PPs, try to get an appointment TODAY for a trial. My trial lasted for about a week. Mine came off on my sheets but not on any clothes. Get the tan and wear something white the next day or two days later to see if it bleeds.

Get a spray tan professionally!!! Self tanner is so hard to get to come out smoothly. I wouldn't risk it

I suggest you do something ASAP, my photographer told me that if I had any tan lines in my dress that I didn't like it would cost big bucks to edit the photos. She said for all of the photos it could be like hundreds. I made sure to make sure that didn't happen here.

Another vote for the jergens. I love the lotion and swear by it. It's nice and gradual. I actually need to start working on mine since my break outs got my shoulders looking all jacked up.

How bad are the tan lines? How are you wearing your hair? Do you have a veil? Look at yourself again with your mock-up wedding hair and possible veil on, you may not notice it as much as you think!

I had to tan the morning of! It got rid of the really light tan lines, it's barely visible in the photos. I didn't give it a second thought until the night before, when I was like "holy fuck" lol

I am getting a spray tan. Never had one before so I'll try it a month before the wedding and see if I like it.

You still have two weeks before your wedding. Maybe try to even them out naturally?
