Tan, nails, and wax

Angeline, on December 26, 2019 at 7:58 PM Posted in Hair and Makeup 1 10
If I am planning on waxing, mani pedi, and spray tan, what is the correct order to do them and how far ahead? I'm getting married on a Saturday

Wax one week put, then nails, then spray tan.

I’ve never gotten waxed so I don’t know about that. But I painted my nails on a Wednesday, got a spray tan Thursday morning, and got married on Saturday.

Nails last and wax no later than a few days before. Tan after wax. Wax, tan, nails.

I’ve never gotten a spray tan, but I would do a wax on Wednesday at the latest! It takes a couple of days for your downstairs area to not be sore/sensitive from waxing. I’d totally recommend sugaring instead of waxing, though!! I’ve been doing waxes for over 2 years but decided to start doing sugaring about 2 months ago. It’s SO much better than waxing! It hurts less, the pain afterwards doesn’t last long at all, and the hair takes longer to grow back. I’m getting my nails done the day before my wedding.

I don’t know anything about the tan but just make sure if you’re getting your legs waxed, you don’t get a pedicure for at least 24-48 hours. Since the pores are all open, your legs could get infected with the lotions and stuff that they use during a pedicure.

Make sure you get a pedi done BEFORE a spray tan, or it will rub it off!! Can’t stress that enough. If you already have the spray tan ( which I would recommend getting on a Wednesday before the wedding) and want your nails done after, make sure they ONLY PAINT your toes, no feet soaking or scrubbing! Learned this the hard way for my cousins wedding lol.
