Tangled themed centerpieces....need ideas!

Brittney, on October 23, 2013 at 2:56 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 18

I am doing a simple wedding with the colors from the movie (light purple and yellow) . I want to do something that resembles the movie in a classy way fit for a wedding. Anyone have ideas? So far I'm thinking paper lanterns with candles on the inside surrounded by flowers. What do you guys think? Thanks!

My favorite Disney movie evarrrr!!! I love the lantern idea. Maybe I'll watch the movie for the millionth time to get some ideas. Maybe you can incorporate the sun (star?) in some sort of way

I like the paper lantern idea! I'd honestly have to watch the movie again to be able to recommend anything!

Here's a Tangled theme photo shoot. Maybe you can change the flowers from pink to lavender?

EDIT: Link to photo gallery since the link doesn't seem to be working on main page

You can do this sun thing underneath your centepieces and use a single yellow lilly and some light purple flowers. Some pics for inspiration.

You could also do mason jars (because, Pinerest wins) with a candle inside. Paint black all around a stencil of the sun that she paints.

If you want to do something cute for kids, you could also have little dollarstore or origami frogs on the tables.

Maybe you could do a vase with "grass" and rocks at the bottom, then branches and flowers with a yellow ribbon tied around it? It'd be symbolizing her hair and when she finally got out of the tower, touched the ground for the first time and ran through the forest. Or do the same thing with little tiara's wrapped around them, again, could be cute for the kids or for pictures too.

I kind of have a wacky personality and one of my sayings is "hit them in the face with a frying pan" even before this movie. So personally, I'd definitely try to incorporate the frying pan in there somehow. LOL.

I'm not that creative so I don't have any suggestions to offer. But I do want to say that I LOVE your theme idea!

I think something very light and nature inspired is called for. I love the paper lanterns, especially what they signify in the movie, but I think greenery and flowers should also be included.

By the way, we have a seperate food/buffet area in the hall that we are using for the reception and we are going to put a sign in the doorway that resembles the one from the movie for the Snuggly Duckling Smiley smile

I am thinking about making some of these and lighting them with battery operated candles, and surrounding the base with flowers.

I know you want simple but this would be soooo magical and beautiful I had to share! The long hanging green plant in the first pic looks like it could be her long hair! Then if you have lights hanging from the ceiling like pic #2 it would be super cool Smiley smile

I like your lantern idea with the flowers Smiley smile It's simple but it will look pretty!
