Target Registry won’t link

Hi Olivia,

Take the URL and copy/paste it into the address bar at the top of your web browser. Go to the site, then double-click the address bar. This will expand the URL. Copy/paste this expanded URL into the import tool.

The URLs registries provide (especially Target's) are too small to contain all of the data needed for the import tool, which is why we need to expand it first before copy/pasting it. If you're still having trouble, please reach out to our Support Team at help@weddingwire.com and include the link to your registry.

I'm having issues with my Target registry too - I am using the full URL, not the truncated one they make for you. When I paste it in the box, the "Import Registry" button is still grayed out.

Same thing is happening with the Macy's registry, I can't figure it out.

I was having trouble with my Travler's Joy registry account, but when I removed the "s" from the "http" it worked.

so "http" instead of "https"

I also had been having issues for days to upload our registry from Target. So I came to this post so see how I could find a resolution! And I agree, I posted the full URL from the search bar and just removed the "s" from the https. Now it is completely uploaded and working!

I have tried all of these ideas and it's still not working for me for Target...

Hi, Did anyone find a solution for this? The only link that wedding wire accepts for me from target routes to a blank page, and removing the "s" didn't do the trick.

I tried getting support from wedding wire and they just offered the first solution on this thread which doesn't fix anything.

View Quoted Comment I received the same response. We ended up putting a hyperlink to the registry that does direct to the right place, just isn’t connected nicely like we want it to be.
