Tarte Concealer vs Nars

I have used Nars and liked it but have never tried the other brand.

I have both, they are very different. The Tarte is much thicker (a little bit goes a long way) and heavier. I would say it takes a little more skill to use and not look too heavy. Both are excellent.

I've only used the Tarte. Love it! Covers everything. Very good for photo coverage too.

It depends what you want for coverage from what I’ve been told. I hear nothing but great things from tarte.. but that’s definitely glam makeup. I would YouTube search for the exact type you are looking for and see what the beauty guru’s say about it before I make a decision

I use the Tarte Shape Tape and love it! I've very heavy as someone previously posted so you only need to use a little bit. It covers absolutely everything though - blemishes, dark circles, etc.! Highly recommend!

They are seriously both AMAZING concealers. You really couldn't go wrong with either one. Me personally, I like the Tarte Shape Tape because you only need just a small amount and it blends out very easily. The Nars one can sometimes get a bit creasy under the eyes, but nothing major. Again, both are great!

I actually use both of them together and it works great!

I have both and use them for different things. Which NARS concealer are you talking about? They have quite a few. I am really liking their soft matte concealer in a pot right now. I was on a big shape tape kick for most of last year but the skin under my eyes seems to have changed and now its too heavy.

LOVE Tarte! Nars just didn’t stay on for me.

I’ve tried both & I have extremely dry & sensitive skin & I don’t like either. Shape Tape did not look good on me, it’s very drying, l’ve heard Urban Decay has great concealer that’s also hydrating since undereyes are normally dry. If you have dry skin, I would suggest that one or maybe the Tarte Rainforest of the Sea.
