I went to sephora and asked a worker there and they did a sample on me and it worked pretty well. i don't remember exactly the products used but i feel like you can do the same thing and they can help you out!

Personally, I am embracing my tattoos. I had one of my MOH's ask me if she needed to cover up for the wedding and I told her to flaunt it! My wedding though is a more of what I would call a somewhat fancy laid back style wedding. Embrace your beautiful artwork!! I believe that Kat Von D though has some great products that help with covering tattoo; maybe give that a try.

I am going to strongly caution against covering your tattoos with make up/cover-up products, if you plan to reveal the tattoos for the reception. I say this because I witnessed firsthand this go horribly wrong! My MOH had the same idea you did when she got married a few years ago. She covered both sleeves (I want to say it was called derma blend?) and it worked fantastically! However, in order to get water-resistant, full coverage that will stay put, that means it is not easy to get off. After the ceremony, she went to the hotel room and attempted to remove the product from her arms.…. And it wouldn’t budge! She had to strip down naked, get in the shower, and SCRUB. The whole process took over an hour, and left her arms red and sore. She was late to her own reception, and missed out on the photos that were supposed to happen before the reception.
If you want to do a big reveal, an easier solution might be to do a dress with long sleeves for the ceremony, then a sleeveless dress for the reception. Or maybe even have your seamstress make the sleeves removable, so you only need one dress.
If nothing else, make sure you find a product that is quickly and easily removed. And don’t forget to allot extra time in your schedule for you to take off your wedding dress (that stuff gets everywhere and will stain your dress quickly!), and Remove the product, then redress. I would do several trial runs with it to determine how long it will take you on the big day

Fully embracing the tattoos because they are part of you. Makeup that covers them is not easy to remove.

I’m embracing mine. I’m actually getting one inspired by having an October wedding so I definitely am not covering. I wouldn’t get them if I didn’t want them to be seen
