Team no thigh gap - Legs rubbing together??

For those of you who are like me and struggle with the size of your thighs, is there anything you recommend to help with your legs rubbing together under your wedding dress? My wedding is in June, I have a long dress with many layers, and our wedding/receptions will be a total of 6+ hours in a dress...

For those of you who are like me and struggle with the size of your thighs, is there anything you recommend to help with your legs rubbing together under your wedding dress? My wedding is in June, I have a long dress with many layers, and our wedding/receptions will be a total of 6+ hours in a dress (debating changing into a reception dress, not sure though). My legs will be burning up all night, sweating, and rubbing together.

In the past any time I have had to wear a dress (I hate dresses haha), I have worn spandex shorts under every dress to stop my thighs from rubbing together and driving me insane, causing a rash (I know I'm not the only one). That probably won't be very cute for under my wedding dress though haha, so does anyone have any advice on ways to prevent or at least help? Obviously I am losing weight and working out but it doesn't make a difference with my thighs, they will still be touching and rubbing together in 5 months.

I am so glad I saw this thread, some great options I've not bothered to look into! Definitely going to have to try some of these.

I've typically used deodorant to help mine.

I used deodorant. I wore a mermaid dress and never even noticed any rubbing.

I swear by deodorant, but plain old vaseline works wonders too. Can get a little messy, so be careful when you apply, but it never dries out

I used to use Body Dew body oil spray to prevent chafing and it worked fabulous. You can get it at the romance stores, amazon, and through romance party reps. It's great for all over after shower to lock moisture in or to add to a bath.

I mostly lurk now-a-days so many of you won't know who I am but I thought this was fitting.

Also, I recommend body glide Smiley smile

I've used the Monistat anti-chafing gel under sun dresses. It works great for me. I can't imagine wearing shorts or Spanx under my dress. It is so hot and heavy just trying it on. I definitely plan on putting a fan under our table.

When I was a size 2 I didn't have a thigh gap. Currently a size 6 still no thigh gap lol. Like some the ladies mentioned earlier deodorant spray, and powder works.

I lied. That's not all. My husband swears by body glide for hiking and all of the other outdoor thigh rubbin stuff he does.

I work at Lush. We have a powder that's all natural called silky underwear that I LOVE for thigh chaffing. I get it when I wear skirts or shorts or a bikini. I also sprinkle a little in my pantiesbaround the crease of my legs/pubic area to prevent razor burn

Body glad lasted me through two marathons. It should hold up just fine on the wedding day. If not, reapply. You can get a mini stick now.

I plan to either use body glide or wear shape wear from Jockey. I first read about it here, and it's far superior to any spanks products I've tried in the past.

Just remember that a thigh gap is not physically possible for most people:

    http://www.wikihow.com/Get-a-Thigh-Gap

So this is not a question of something being wrong with your body. However, Spanx, biking shorts, pantyhose, deodorant, etc. can help if you're uncomfortable.

Nobody really has a thigh gap! I plan to wear Spanx. If I wasn't then Body Glide for sure. I've worn it before- it lasts all day, doesn't stain, doesn't smell. You won't even remember you're wearing it!

Sone people do but is a matter of bone structure not body fat. Period.

Either way is a stupid 'trend' can't even belive it is a thing.

Anyway. The anti chafing gel is awesome. It's also what I use as a face primer, just a silicon base product to reduce friction.

    Deodorant will work. Baby powder.

Shorts are also a win if you want to go there.
