Teeth Whitening for very sensitive teeth

Sara, on July 13, 2021 at 9:38 AM Posted in Hair and Makeup 0 5

I'm looking for a good whitening strip that won't be painful on my slightly receding gums and super sensitive teeth. I've used Crest Gentle before, but the results weren't what I'm shooting for. I do not want to go to the dentist to get this done. Any of you brides have any luck with any other whitening strips for your sensitive teeth?

I’ve used coconut oil. I already had pretty white teeth but used it to help strengthen my enamel and noticed they got whiter.

    15 year dental assistant here:

Switch to only using sensodyne toothpaste for two weeks. Then start using Opalescence Go:

    https://www.amazon.com/Opalesceence-Opalescence-Go-15/dp/B00ER5NN3K/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=opalescence+go&qid=1626196092&sr=8-2

continue using the sensodyne while whitening. Its the only over the counter whitener I feel comfortable recommending to patients.

I’m in the same place with super sensitive teeth (10 min with a Crest Whitestrip is all I can take!). I’ve had really good luck with the blue light kit, Glo Lit, from Sephora. My teeth are much whiter than from strips alone, and I’ve had zero sensitivity! Of course still using Sensodyne as a precaution.

Use Opalescence! I tried using Crest White straps and they hurt my teeth so badly! I brush with Sensodyne toothpaste and will use Opalescence in my retainers to gently whiten my teeth. Smiley smile

Snow teeth whitening! It's a little $$ but cheaper than going to the dentist and no sensitivity!
