Our wedding is March 19th (Friday). Fall is a great time for weddings in FL, but both of our birthdays are in the fall/winter, plus most major holidays, so we thought it would be nice to have a spring anniversary. St. Augustine has been our favorite weekend vacation spot since we started dating so it is special to us

We have been eyeing this place too, it is absolutely stunning! Just not sure if its convenient for my local guests. Unless we make it a weekend getaway time affair, let everyone know sooner than later so they can plan.

I have a ton of out of state family so I am thinking too close to the holidays would just make it stressful for everyone. I am really thinking of Saint Augustine now and making it a weekend getaway--- what is not to love and there is SO much to do! Congrats to you and your FH, best wishes on planning :-)

That's kind of what we did. Most of our friends and family live all over so we chose to keep it local to us (handful of friends live in Orlando, but most are traveling for our wedding). Vero isn't too far and Central Florida would be a great weekend getaway. I would suggest offering a block of rooms for your guests and definitely give advance notice. We sent our save the dates earlier than usual, but for most of our guests this is a destination wedding. Even our parents live a couple hours away.

You are Soooo right Rhianna! For most of my family coming in, they would have to fly into Orlando as Vero does not have an airport. You bring up the BEST points! Thank you so much. I am so loving this community, it has truly been a great help and has made planning so much more fun!

View Quoted Comment Thank you! ☺️ Depending on where you are located this may not be too far from you. It is in Land O’ Lakes. You don’t actually go inside a building that has doors closed but your under the building enough that if it rains no one will get wet 😊
