I am SO excited to marry my partner. I'm excited to be his wife, to have kids with him, and just to spend literally every available moment with our legs on top of each other on the couch scrolling on our phones with the tv on in the background. I'm so stoked about it! And of course I'm excited about the ceremony and the vows and the big dress and the so on and so forth.
which is why I was kind of surprised by how excited I am by this detail we just sorted out last night - our place cards!
I had originally wanted our place cards to be cookies which would act as both favour and name tag, but couldn't find anyone who could do it, except some places that would have cost literally thousands of dollars, so I was super disappointed. UNTIL! A friend put us on to her cookie lady that she uses for her kid's birthdays! Guys, I am SO excited. The supplier sent me the picture below to ask if it was what I am looking for and it's literally our wedding colours - we're having peaches and pinks and creams! AND! She can make them coffee flavoured shortbread - and coffee is a HUGE deal to me and very much a romantic thing for my fiance and I! (our engagement photos were at a coffee shop). I am so childishly excited and happy that I can have what I'd wanted so badly, and that they're going to be so personal to us!
