My fiance and I are having our wedding at a home and I'm not sure about tenting the tennis court for our reception. The homeowners are ok with it, but it is a clay court, very hard clay, but clay.
We would be saving 1000's if we don't have to get the event decking that usually goes on the grass to make the hard floor. I would still lay indoor/outdoor carpeting on the surface of the court, and have a dance floor put down, just not sure if people walking in heels and sitting in chairs will make depressions in the clay.
Has anyone held a reception on a clay court before???
