I don’t know how many of you fellow brides have tested positive? But I did.

I got COVID in December 2020, fortunately that was nowhere near my wedding!

I wonder if it’s like the chicken pox where you don’t get it again

Unfortunately, it is definitely nothing like the chickenpox. You can contract Covid over and over and over again. I have several friends who have had it 2-3 times now.

Also, the way you react to it one time is not necessarily the way you will react the second time either. One of my family members barely had any symptoms the first time he had it, then was in ICU the second time he had it. But then one of my friends was mildly sick the first time she had it, and barely had any symptoms at all the second time 🤷🏼‍♀️

Well I don’t feel bad per say but I do feel lousy whenever I have a head cold. But other than being congested I feel fine. The #1 thing is to do if you have it is to stay hydrated and vitamin c

Yeah unfortunately our vaccines were created for the OG covid virus the more this thing has the chance to mutate and change it can evade vaccinations. The data showed omicron to be the most different variant than all the others so I’m not surprised vaccines can’t stop infection or getting sick. At this point vaccines are just keeping many of us out the hospital.

There’s no way to say how ppl will react unfortunately. My husband is just getting over covid now and he’s fully vaxxed not boosted (will be as soon as he’s well. Both of us!) he had 3-4 days of a 103.7 fever, 2-3 days of shortness of breath he said it felt like death the first few days. I couldn’t understand why his symptoms were seeming more moderate than mild that I was expecting for fully vaxxed ppl. He was so weak in the beginning I told him he had to fight the extreme fatigue and try to get up and get air into his lungs. It was definitely scary and I will never underestimate this virus even while being vaccinated. We just have to all try to be as safe as we can out here. All my husband does is go to work and come home. He wears a KN95 and is a extreme germophobe so sanitizer is life for him. I’m still remote and now scared of sending him back to work where he got sick the first time. Smh these are rough times

I had covid in May 2021 and I've been vaccinated...I get the booster in 2 weeks. But I have recently thought about this!!! I didn't invite anyone that wasn't vaccinated...so we should all be okay...but omnicron is still catchall even with the vaccine???

My worst fear is being sick...covid or anything else...for our wedding!
