Texas honeymoon ideas?

My FH and I are decided where we wanted our honeymoon. With the corona virus we wanted to stay clear of airplanes especially now we found out that we are pregnant. We decided to go to south padre island Texas, because I love the beach. Does anyone have any other ideas of what else we could do? Or anywhere else in Texas that we could go? I will be about 4-5 months pregnant then and it will be in July!

    South Padre Island sounds like a gorgeous destination for a honeymoon.

    Another lovely beach to honeymoon at may be Jamaica Beach on Galveston Island. Check it out Smiley smile

    I know this isn't Texas but the cabins in Broken Bow are beautiful and fairly inexpensive. Not sure where you're located but they are only about 3 hours away from the DFW area. There's a lake and a lot of things to do especially in the summer! If you're absolutely not wanting to leave Texas or set on the beach, I would check out Crystal beach. It is more secluded and a lot less people than Padre or Galveston. You drive into Galveston and take about a 20 minute ferry ride to Crystal Beach. Beautiful homes, a cute little mom and pop grocery store and yummy food!
