I just had my bridal shower and a friend came that I know isn't in a position to afford a gift but I am just so glad she came to the party I want to send a thank you note for attending the party. I am not finding any examples of this online and don't want the note to be painfully short. Any ideas? Thanks!

    Maybe just thank her for coming and let her know how much it meant to you that she came and how excited you are to celebrate again with her come wedding day?

    I would write it just like you would had there been a gift, "I want to thank you so much for celebrating with me at the shower, it meant the world to me to have you there..." etc.

    Agree with this. A simple message that states all of this and comes from the heart would work great. You don't need to find anything pre-written on the internet to let her know this.
