Lol. Those are silly indeed... here are a few of ours

- FMIL wanted to invite 35 + of her family and out of town friends to the rehearsal dinner.... the wedding party alone is 35 people... plus our out of town family... it quickly turned into 90 people for a wedding of only 180 guests... a pre wedding wedding.... lol. We compromised to a "happy hour" for alllllll out of town guests AFTER rehearsal dinner. She didnt like that compromise either.... so now she is hosting them all for a day after brunch.... good lord. These poor people have too much to attend. Lorrrrd

FH's sister told FH not to invite their cousin because "he has too many kids & she wouldn't invite him to her wedding". I don't care how many kids he has, they're family. They're all invited.

Way to go for considering your guests first! You never know how you'll react on your fist cruise, so I totally understand passing on a cruise wedding

My mom suggested I have a potluck which in itself is a horrible idea but even more of a head scratcher because my wedding was a DW for everyone but me and H. So how is anyone supposed to bring a dish exactly? I just pictured her like trying to boil pasta with the hotel room coffee pot the morning of the wedding or something lol.
