The 1st Time He Said "I Love You"

When he suddenly stopped and grabbed me and said "Mallory No-Real-Middle Name Keane...I absolutely love you" and it may have been the vodka talking but it was the best night EVEr. I cannot explain how happy i was that he said it

I guess technically I said it first...I just didn't know it. DH and I both had just gotten out of bad relationships so we were taking it slow. I moved back home to my parents as did he. DH worked till 10:30 at the time so he used to come over to my parents afterwork. I was lucky to be awake by the time he got there. We would watch tv and I would inevitably fall asleep. He would then tuck me in, give me a kiss, and leave. One night in my semi-conscious state I apparently said, "night I love you" DH said he just smiled and left. These nights happened for 2 more weeks with me saying "I Love You" while half asleep a few more times. Finally, it happened again and DH said it back to me. I woke right up! Eyes wide I just looked at him. He explained to me what had been happening for the past few weeks. I laughed and said well I guess my waiting for you to say it didn't quite work.

I've never been the type to hold back my thoughts or feelings, so the first time I told him I loved him was no different. We were doing the grown up thing, and we stopped and started gazing into each other's eyes, and without thinking, the words just came out. He looked stunned, and was quiet for what seemed like minutes, then he smiled and said "are you sure", of course I said yes; he smiled again and said, "good, cause I love you too". Man I love me some him .

We met on match.com, and we talked ALOT before we met, when we did meet we couldnt take our eyes off each other and never stopped talking, didnt even notice the wait staff @ the club, at one point he started to say it, THAT NIGHT, I asked him not to and he became very gunshy over that, 2 yrs later we were @ a pool party and he swam over to me, held me right there in front of everyone and whispered it to me, it was perfect and unexpected.

We went to eat breakfast at Bob Evans I stole one of his strawberries off his pancakes and he said you know what? I said what? He said I love you and I'm n love with you.

Haha these stories are taking me back... Me and FH have been together since I was 15. I remember we were going out for maybe 2 weeks and I was sleeping over my best friends house when he was about to go to bed and we were saying goodnight. Then he told me he loved me! and I said.. No! you dont love me YET, but you will. and he told me he definatly did and I would know soon enough. Well I did know and he is still proving his love today It amazes me how soon he fell for me and how deeply we are still in love <33
