The Easily Forgotten Little Things...

Is there anything you can think of that can easily be forgotten? You know, stuff that isn't on your wedding day checklist to do at 6 months or 3 months, etc. Everytime I think I have everything in line, I'm like... Oh - I need to get champagne flutes. Or a Cake Topper. A garter, etc. There are so...

I still have to book accommodations for our pup for the wedding day and get his bordetella vaccine, since he's not normally boarded. I thought I saw a pic of you with a pup so that's something that could be easily overlooked.

I'm mostly just worried about having enough giant mushrooms. I feel like everything else is good to go. License, passports, stupid fancy dress, fiance....etc.

If you're writing vows, what you're writing them on. Who is actually bringing the rings/what is the ring bearer using. What you're cutting the cake with and FORKS for feeding, we just had a cake cutter and had to use our hands. Writing a short thank you speech to your guests. This is a helpful thread!

If you want the photographer to take one of those collage-type photos of your invitation, RSVP card, program, paddle fan, menu, etc remember to keep a copy of each all together so he can arrange them for a photo. I forgot to keep a copy of the invitations for myself so we didn't get a photo like the one I described.

If you're going to play the Newlywed Shoe Game, remember to have the questions printed out before the reception, give them to whomever will be leading the game (i.e., the DJ, the BM or the MOH).

Thanks to this thread I started a list and so far I have forgotten to buy:

    FG shoes

Special lingerie for the wedding night.

Gift bags to put the BM/GM gifts

2nd outfit for after the wedding - We're going out dancing with the BP

There are so many things to remember! What I did when I was putting everything together to make sure that I wouldn't forget, I put together a list of the things we needed to bring and then assigned them to people that were willing to help. Each person had a bag with the stuff in it to make it easy to remember. So my sister was in charge of my flutes/cake cutter/topper and another sister had my DH's ring and vows. Amazingly no one forgot their bags of stuff.

Everyone advised me to make sure I had all the needed chargers and cables for electronics. like cell phone chargers, things like that.

I'd bring along some computer flash drives and a lap top if you have it. see about having someone transfer pictures people take right away.

maybe that would be a good job for the 12 year old relative you aren't sure what to do with Smiley smile

    -a first aid kit

@Elyse - Great point! Luckily I get my little guy his bordatella every year because I take him to doggie daycare sometimes. Because I'm crazy.... Hahaha!

@KareBear - YES!!! I need to remember the invitation spread so I can get a nice photo of it... I have that pinned to a board somewhere... among hundreds of boards.. and pins. I'll add this to my "DO NOT FORGET" list in my binder!

@Stitching- I hope one of my bridesmaids will bring me an emergency kit with first aid stuff in it but I should probably bring one myself, better safe than sorry!
