This is what my FH wants to do, pull it off with his teeth. IN FRONT OF MY WHOLE FAMILY? NO THANK YOU!!! His family and mine are very different. his family would egg him on and laugh about it, i'm afraid my family would be mortified.

Over it. I might still wear a garter since i found a cute one with our colors on etsy, but that will be for Fhs eyes only haha. And i want to keep my bouquet. I will use it as a decoration in our home after the wedding.

We’re not doing it. Most of our friends are in relationships or married. I think it would make our few single friends feel awkward. If you have a lot of single friends and think they’d be up for something like that, then go for it!

I just know that my single friends would try to trip me if I made them go up there to catch a bouquet!

SO over it. After being in 11 wedding parties and being single until my mid forties, it’s literally hatred at this point. Don’t get me started on the whole meaning behind it and how degrading and ridiculous it all is. I wouldn’t care if I never saw it done again!!

So beyond over them both. We’ll be doing the anniversary dance and give the bouquet to the couple that’s been together the longest. We don’t have many single friends or family so what’s the point.

I like the bouquet toss, but I'm pretty uncomfortable with the garter toss, so my FH and I decided that he's going to be throwing a football instead. Haha Smiley xd

I’m thinking about doing the bouquet toss, but not the garter toss because I think it’s awkward that everyone’s staring at you while your SO is going up your dress & watching your expression.

I’m not doing it, especially the garter toss. I was on the fence about the bouquet toss but after my soon to be mother in law told me that I should go out there in the pit of single women to catch the bouquet (when her son was sitting RIGHT NEXT TO ME), I’m not a player of it anymore

    Into the bouquet toss...

    Over the garter toss...

Most of the guys don't want to participate and then it's always awkward watching the "winner" place the garter on the young lady. It's a lot.

Over both. We're not doing either. I'm mid 30s, he's 40, and it just feels weird for the 3 or so single people we'll have there to fight over either.

I think the bouquet toss is a fun tradition but the garter toss is borderline creepy and inappropriate.

So over. Don’t need FH feeling me up in front of all our close family and friends, most of which are older. And I hate throwing things behind me so passing on the bouquet toss as well. Which works because most of our family and friends are mostly all married or the ones that aren’t are either engaged or almost engaged.
