Hey…since most of us have been a wedding guest, which were your favorites (or most memorable) and why? Over the years, here are a few I loved:

Smiley heart Intimate DWs: I’ve loved destination weddings with fewer than 50 guests. Two I remember the best had a casual welcome dinner the night before so people could meet & mingle. Fun to explore the local area the day of the wedding. Interesting, neither DW had a DJ/band or dancing. But the superb food, drinks and fun with new friends made both events so fun. Great inspiration for our DW…our 15 guests had a blast.

Smiley heart Cultural inspiration: I’ve been to several big but kinda blah expensive ballroom weddings. But one big Asian wedding stands out. The cultural traditions were rad, the multiple-course dinner at a Chinese restaurant was delicious, and karaoke was hilarious. Lots of guest interaction and even with 100+ people, it felt relaxed and interactive. I've yet to go to a crazy Italian or Jewish wedding, hopefully someday!

Smiley heart Themed fun: Ok, never been to one besides ours but please will one my friends throw a Game of Thrones wedding, a roaring 20's celebration in an art deco hotel, or a Halloween wedding at an estate house???

Which weddings did you love as a guest? Why?

My top two favorites we're my cousin's wedding because she had an unreal amount of AMAZING food and a great DJ/dance floor. Everyone was full of food AND danced right until the end. Don't remember the decor at all (I'm sure it was nice) but it was praiser by the entire family!

The other was my best friends wedding. She had only about... 20-30 people? Maybe less. They had a lovely sit down dinner at their favorite local restaurant where they are regulars. It was so them. Amazing food and so intimate. Spent the whole dinner at the table with the bride and groom. The food was good and surprisingly I didn't miss the dancing AT ALL!
