I have looked at other color dresses and they seem strange to be but they are stilll very very beautiful. I never imagined myself in anything but white for my wedding. So I guess I am pretty indifferent about it. I really cant decide until he picks the camo pattern he wants. Some of them have white in them and a white.........
So I am clear Cheri, Jeff wants a Camo tux. You think it's dumb and you want an all white dress?

Since he is not helping you AT ALL.... you pick your wedding. you pick your dress. you pick what makes you happy and feel awesome. when he wants to be a part of the planning, i think then he can have some camo in your wedding.
buy him some new camo undies and call it good.. "there's your camo, honey"
That is a bit harsh. this is his wedding too and i want to include his wants even tho i may not like his style. he doesnt like mine either. we are very opposite types of people. how would i mix classy and redneck together?
Camo can be pretty classy if it's done right. What if you chose White for your dress with a Camo sash? Bridesmaids could wear black or brown with a Camo sash. Groom wears a white tux with a Camo vest and tie. Groomsmen wear black or brown with Camo vest and tie?
I'm sorry, but i have to disagree. Camo can not be classy. It is by definition, not classy.
i'd give him an awesome grooms cake in ful camo. I'd have a camo garter, maybe a few other subtle camo touches, but unless you want it to look like and be remembered as a redneck wedding.. i wouldn't make it a big part.
I recommend playing with the Camo to strike the balance you look for. This is the idea I was thinking of when I last posted. But be sure you don't use TOO much Camo otherwise your guests may have trouble finding you!
Thank you so much for the links! i really really like this one http://camoformal.com/index.php/wedding/bridal-gowns/3041-halter-tulle-ball-gown.html?SID=ikva63gsd79luk84vhnnqdj2k2
That'll be GORGEOUS! Will you be outside? If so you may want to take out some of the poof so it doesn't get caught on sticks and stuff...I am hopin my dress won't be poofy when it comes in as it is outside!
Also Cheri-I am glad that you want Jeff's input and value it! To me-we need more brides with our chain of thought. After all! We wouldn't have a wedding without the guy!
then Download the catalog (it just opens a window with adobe or pdf.
All kinds of camo stuff on that page!
Im partial to the white one myself.
As I said before-Camo can be tasteful if it's done right. The tux guy at my store told me about a wedding where they did Hunter's Orange (which is a pretty bright color) and Camo and he thought that the bridal couple were off their rocker. Then he saw the photos--they actually looked good.
But I think white or ivory would be better than the orange!
This is a picture from one of my best friends wedding. We have hard core hunting husbands. He had to have camo as a part of his wedding so this is what they wore. It looked really nice. They did black wranglers with nice boots, had camo vests made, and did the jackets. I think it looked really good.
