I was just wondering if anyone has gotten/will be getting married at The Kings Contrivance or has experience with other events there. I was told that the 180 capacity is only if you are having a summer tent reception and indoors would be 120 (not including second floor), but still need to verify that number. If anyone had any information about guest size for an indoor first floor reception (ceremony would be at a different location) or general advice for the venue, it would be very helpful.

Thanks for the information! I called The Kings Contrivance and was told 100 guests on the first floor and 60 guests on the second floor.

We are inviting around 150 to the reception, 75% out of town or international, so it will work out. If we have to have the band and/or younger adults sitting upstairs, it’s okay.
