There’s no competition between the Knot and Wedding Wire when it comes to custom domain implementation. The Knot is so much better when it comes to setting up a custom domain for your wedding website. I purchased a custom domain via Wedding Wire and it has yet to work. I haven’t received any instructions, nor did I know that the transaction went through. After searching this forum and googling, I realized that many have waited for weeks to months to get their domains. Such a poor business practice. What a shame. I was, however, able to go to the Knot and purchase another domain and it was working within minutes. There is no excuse for this. Why isn’t the Wedding Wire’s so seamless? It should not be this complicated or take this long in 2020. I’d really like my money back from Wedding Wire. I hope all that see this and want a custom domain take heed. Don’t use the Wedding Wire.
