When I got married in 1989, the limo was pulling into the reception venue and there was an ambulance there. Turns out my mother in law's friend tied one on too early, went to the bathroom and fell forward and earned herself a serious laceration. The rushed her to the ER and fortunately the stitched her up quickly and got her back to the reception.
